Hackney sits to the south of us. The easy route is up Lea Bridge Road and onto the A107, then towards Tottenham Hale, and you reach Garman Road in around fifteen minutes when the roads are clear. Coming up the Lea Bridge corridor avoids the worst of the inner Hackney one-way systems.
A lot of what comes in from E8 and E9 is city damage: parking knocks, scraped bumpers, scuffed alloys from kerbs and the odd door ding. Those are usually same day. We also see older cars in for a full respray or a colour change, ceramic coating to keep a fresh finish protected, and wraps for people who want a new look without a permanent change.
On the mechanical side it is the usual London mix, brakes that have had enough of stop-start traffic, warning lights that need a proper diagnostic, timing chains, suspension and servicing. Because paint and mechanical share the same yard, a Hackney car can have both sorted in one visit rather than two separate trips up the A107.
Bodywork and mechanical under one roof
From Hackney, head up Lea Bridge Road and join the A107 north towards Tottenham Hale, then onto Watermead Way and Garman Road. We are at number 59, N17 0UN, roughly fifteen minutes off-peak. There is parking on site, and Tottenham Hale station (Victoria line and Overground) is close if you want to drop the car and travel back.
Good to know
What is the quickest way to you from Hackney?+
Up Lea Bridge Road and onto the A107 heading north towards Tottenham Hale, then Watermead Way and Garman Road. It is about fifteen minutes off-peak and keeps you out of the inner Hackney one-way systems.
Can you fix a parking scuff or door ding the same day?+
Usually yes. Bumper scuffs, scratches, kerbed alloys and small dents are the kind of thing we turn around in a day if you get the car to us early. Call ahead and we will tell you before you drive over.
Do you do servicing and MOT prep as well as paint?+
Yes. We are a full mechanical garage as well as a body shop, so brakes, diagnostics, timing chains, servicing and MOT prep are all on the same site as the spray booth.
Can you wrap a car instead of respraying it?+
We can do either. A wrap changes the look and can be removed later, while a respray is permanent. Tell us what you are after and we will talk through which suits the car and your budget.
